Tavira usually organises its Popular Marches   with a parade through the streets.This year   however, they used the new amphitheatre style   square, as a magnificent backdrop for this   ancient Portuguese tradition. Following the   inauguration in the morning, hundreds of   people congregated in this area to watch the   parade.
